Delhi-based Fitnano is looking to ease parents’ worries about where their children are at all times. The company’s new ‘Kidfit’ – set for launch in June – allows parents to track their child or call her/him without allowing anyone else to do so and without providing Internet access. NDTV reports that the device is available for pre-order for just Rs. 299, with a final price that should be Rs. 3,499.
The wearable – currently being manufactured in China – is a smartwatch that has an LCD display which just shows the time, while it also has four buttons – two on either side. The buttons on one side are labeled ‘Mom’ and ‘Dad’, while the other two buttons include a power button and an ‘SOS’ button. However, the device needs to be paired with its accompanying app for parents to track their children.
