Facing a lot of heat from residents regarding potholes, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) plans to introduce an app on its website to monitor their filling. The Times of India reports that the app is being developed by the BBMP IT cell in association with a private company. Further, the body will spend at least Rs 20 lakh in each of its 198 wards. Mayor G Padmavathi said,
The app will track the potholes before and after the repair work.”
The platform was first designed in 2013 but will now be tweaked and made available next week. Moreover, it will even be made available as a smartphone app.
