If you’ve ever found it hard to locate a toilet in the busy city of Mumbai, there’s good news for you. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has launched an app that makes it easier for Mumbaikars to find restrooms. YourStory reports that the ‘Mumbai Toilet Locator’ is an Android app through which the civic body has connected over 800 pay-and-use toilets across the city, using GPS. Moreover, a senior official from the department of Solid Waste Management, said more locations will be added to the platform in the near future.
The app was launched by Municipal Commissioner Ajoy Mehta, and is an easy-to-use, pan-Mumbai tool.
