Xiaomi is taking its range of smart devices to a whole new level. NDTV reports that the company has now launched a smart ukulele under its MIJIA brand of smart home products. The new device has also been launched on the MIJIA crowdfunding platform, where it has crossed its goal. The smart instrument is aimed at teaching users how to play the ukulele. It comes with a companion app available to users of Android 4.3 and above, or iOS 8.0 and above. This app will also help you learn to play over a hundred songs on the instrument.
The ‘Mi Populele’, which also provides real-time recording for songs played, even lets you share your recordings on social media platforms. Further, the company claims the smart instrument can teach a user to play in just five minutes. Priced at CNY 399 (roughly Rs. 4,000), the Mi Populele is expected to start shipping from the end of March.
