Instagram has been on a mission recently to improve security and safety on its photo sharing platform. It has just launched its two-factor authentication to improve account security. According to Engadget, users need to simply enter a code sent to their registered mobile number via text message every time they turn on their app. This particular security has now been made available to everyone even though it has been around for a bit in a limited fashion.
In addition to this, Instagram has also launched a stand-alone website as a one-stop shop to provide an overview of things like blocking accounts, tagging photos, managing comments and other things users can avail of to keep their experience on the service safe and positive.
