Gurgaon-Based Entrepreneur Develops Mobile App To Solve Parking Problems

Pranay Sharma, a graduate from Delhi’s Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, and a Gurgaon-based entrepreneur, has developed Parkzap – an app that will help people find and pay for a parking spot. The Times of India reports that the app shows users available slots nearby and comparative rates at different parking lots.
Parkzap has tied up with a South Delhi mall and is in talks with two malls in Gurgaon to introduce app-based parking. Available on Google Play Store, the app connects parking sites to the cloud from where information is synced with users. Sharma says Parkzap even allows drivers to scan parking receipts on their phones and pay directly via a mobile wallet.
